藝術是能夠讓人心靈得到慰藉的活動，是能夠讓這個世界更美好的元素之一。Vita Yang，一位畢業於英國De Montfort University鞋類設計的藝術家，他的日常生活跟畫畫密不可分。Vita Yang於今年也出版了他的新書《This is my first book》，用了最樸實的筆觸搭上小品文字，紀錄下每天的創作點滴。

這些是平時Vita Yang的插畫作品，題材皆是我們生活中常見的人事物，舉凡生活物品、服裝、街頭文化、人物都是他的靈感來源。Vita Yang善於使用水彩、墨水繪製插畫，看似雜亂的線條卻細膩地勾勒出每一處人物細節，樸實卻不失溫度的色彩讓藝術貼近人心。

《This is my first book》中更是記錄著每次作畫的背景故事，透過簡單勾勒的插畫以及生活化的文字搭配，讓人能更理解Vita Yang對世界、生活的想法與感受。籌備了兩年的時間，Vita Yang的新書將於8/3正式上市，8/21 （日）下午三點於松菸誠品也將舉行一場新書分享會。在現在這忙碌緊湊的生活中，這樣的插畫也帶給了筆者不少放鬆調劑作用，不知道各位是不是也是呢？
