美國畫家 Gregory Thielker 用簡單的一句話,訴說他對於日常生活的感知,並且運用雨季和天空山景,描繪了他眼前的山水世界。像是經典系列“Under The Unminding Sky”當中,透過觀察擋風玻璃上的雨水,將其用畫筆滑動、擠壓,重現了 Gregory 眼中雨水浸透的畫面。
這些遠看像是照片的畫作,沒有真實、清晰的線條和準確的陰影,反倒像創造了一個可移動式的鏡頭,用想像力和流動—透明—分層—融合技法轉變成逼真的藝術品。
