你都是怎麼裝飾牆面的呢？你可能是刷上油漆、掛上照片或是畫作，也可能是貼上壁貼，但你有想過在牆上做一幅浮雕作品嗎？這位加拿大的藝術創作者 Bernie Mitchell ，是個室內隔間材料「紙面石膏板drywall」的承包商，但是與其他承包商與眾不同的是，他會在石膏板上自己設計構思，能用各種工具例如湯匙，並且在上面做出浮雕雕刻，原本一面普通的牆經過 Bernie Mitchell 的巧手後，變成一幅絕美的浮雕作品。

紙面石膏在當代藝術作品的創作中常見，但 Bernie Mitchell 的創作方法不同，其他人是使用石膏雕刻，而他卻是用類似於泥巴的半液態半固態的石膏，直接在牆上刷出立體感。他的作品主題大多為自然，最擅長鳥、馬、狼與狗，一開始他只運用到突出的表面和光線，之後 Bernie Mitchell 逐漸採用麥秸和稻草來增加效果，盡情的在牆上展示出他的創造力的傑出的技巧，已經成為許多人爭相恐後收藏的藝術品。
