由 95 後新生代設計師 — 林陸也(RIKUYA HAYASH)於 2016 年創立的街頭品牌 SUGARHILL(當年約21歲),日前釋出了 2020 秋冬 LOOKBOOK。
林陸也原先於日本文化大學就讀舞台服裝,後轉至紐約時裝技術學院(FIT),最終於武藏野美術大學學習時裝。在 FIT 留學期間曾於男裝品牌 LANDLORD 及 FACETASM 從事實習與兼職工作,而品牌名稱 SUGARHILL 正是源自於當時在紐約的居住地 — 糖山區。SUGARHILL 將服裝、音樂、文化等元素結合工作服與軍裝,重新詮釋美式街頭風格,短短幾年便受到國內外關注,服裝亦曾在饒舌歌手 KID FRESINO 的 MV 中出現過。
以前採訪過 FACETASM 設計師落合宏理,他曾經說過: 「街頭與時裝的結合是再自然不過的一件事。」因此在 SUGARHILL 身上可見許多 FACETASM 的考究剪裁,及在另一日本品牌 LANDLORD 川西遼平的大膽創舉,林陸也正用他自己年輕人的方式來融合呈現!

本季以「Studded Leather Headlock」為主題,投射林陸也從創作到個人風格的軌跡。面料上與岡山縣歷史悠久的工廠「日本棉布」和兵庫縣的織物廠「TOBAN-TEXTILE」合作;而每季的重點之一皮革製品,也由工匠手工製成,其中可見 Western Shirt 和 Motorcycle Jacket;紮染夾克與馬海毛毛衣也是本季不可錯過的單品。LOOKBOOK 則找來東京迷幻雙人樂團 — JAN AND NAOMI 的 NAOMI 擔任模特,及攝影師 Koichiro Iwamoto、造型師 RIKU OSHIMA 等活躍於時尚界的新星。
整體而言將復古元素加入當代設計,皆是適合日常穿著的單品,而品牌來到第六季從原先簡潔的美國西岸風格,延伸至面料、樣式、剪裁與設計線條上,猶如林陸也從男孩蛻變的成長過程。
