PH5 究竟是紐約還是中國品牌?
故事是這樣開始的:2010年作為一名商業顧問的 Wei Lin,與在 Parsons 就讀時裝設計的 Mijia Zhang 於紐約的公寓相遇,巧的是Wei Lin的家族正經營針織廠生意,於是兩人一拍即合於2014年成立品牌PH5。
PH也就是俗稱的酸鹼度,範圍從0到14,其中7為中性。如果把7作為男女通用的標籤,而1代表世俗女性的審美觀,那麼PH5則是前衛的女性品牌,率性中又保有女孩的浪漫想像。品牌將自己定位為「針織品實驗室」,從設計、研發到工程,運用完善的針織廠配套創造異材織法,且致力於可持續性的製造方式。
2016年,剛成立兩年的PH5於紐約發布首個2017春夏系列後,即獲得WWD、VOGUE、NEW YORKS TIMES等國際媒體關注。而在今年2020年春夏,PH5突破了5年大關,成功挑戰了傳統的針織服飾。而PH5 2020春夏系列延續以往復古、俏皮的服裝與拍攝風格,上一季的招牌波浪下擺則以方形感的圖案取代,延伸至可機洗的針織西服、百褶裙和寬鬆的連衣裙上。色彩上將冬日沉穩素雅的鮮豔顏色,轉換為夏日明亮的輕透感之外,本季更以在陽光下會變色的織物為特點,實驗出新型UV反光針織製成的設計。
