Defendius Door Chain

defendius01.jpg

This door chain concept designed by Artemy Lebedev fell into the category of a good joke. If you have a visitor you might have a dialog like this :I’ll be right there, hold on!“, just for a seconds …  “Just one more minute, I’ve almost got it!“, because the chain is long enough to reach the far end of the maze. Someone thinksit would help you protect your home against unauthorized entry., but I just contribute it as a time challenge!

Recycled Keyboards : Text-ile Chair

text-ile01.jpg

This lounge chair was designed by Dante Bonuccelli for the 2009 UMUL Project (Use More, Use Less) workshop in Milan, Italy ,and is made almost entirely of recycled computer keyboards. A series of same type and dimension keyboard make it look aesthetic. But the most things I concerned: Comfortable? Or not? Every designer always said: “this chair is comfortable and artistic.” Actually, I doubt that.

Even through the website said” About 90% of the Boxed Water container is made from a renewable resource, trees.” I still wonder that could be more recyclable?
